    We run a 300 Verado on a tritoon. Good fuel mileage and pushes the 25ft boat to 40mph.

    Ah no, and at full throttle you can crank it full left or right and it turns. But slows a lot

    Have you priced a re-fresh on the 2 strokes with a competent local guy ?

    2 strokes are hard to beat....even if you dump a couple hundred extra a year on oil, they are light and spool up quick....plus simple.
