I'll be up there with some friends this weekend. What bike should I look for. I might be able to help a little bit cause it is my home track. My name is Jimmy and i'm not sure yet if I will be riding.

I'll be there on Sunday...#831 look me up, I don't claim to be fast at Putnam, but I know it well. #1 tip for a cold day...theres only two lefts that catch people on cold left sided tires.

There are two putnam vids: mot0world coverage and me filming Sam.

Keep in mind this is from 98 (damn, I'm old). I'm slow now but I was even slower then and I'm an even worse cameraman/mpg encoder.

View it at 50 or 100% zoom and it won't be too painful to watch.

    TURN 4

The first left hander on your first "FLYING" lap. You just went through a succession of 5 right handers and you are feeling comfy. Then this fast sweeping left comes up and spits you into the bushes. Definitely Turn 7 "THE BUSSTOP"

Oh and finally. BE VERY CAREFUL in turn 10. It is the ONLY logistically dangerous part of the track!!!! The wall at the exit comes up very quickly!

Other than that a beautiful SMOOTH track with great spectating for your S.O.

Oh and start packing your sh@t up early cause they will kick you out with your stuff still inside.

Be careful of the bus stop, that's were the track end and begins.

Turn 10 is fun but don't go down there or you will find yourself in the wall
