Anyone have any experience with this protector? I got one and seems good for impacts but it has no hypertension protection.

Is this important or just impact?

    Cheers

Id personally be more worried about impact. But I'm sure you can find instances where you'll
    need hyperextension

The back protector's main purpose is to protect against impact. I don't know of one that will actually help with hyper-extension (it would need to be strapped at each plate or pretty much glued to your back to truly do that)

Agreed, I don't think any of them will prevent hyperextension.

I have the Nucleon KR-1. It's thinner than some, and the back is smooth so it's easier to slide the leathers over it, unlike some that have a more rubbery finish.

Ah cool, I always thought the armourdillo style Dainese ones did protect on hyperextension
