I slept on an aerobed for 2 years in college. Mine had the built-in internal pump, and plugged into the wall. I rolled it up (still plugged in) every night. It lasted well.

The ability to use a cot like a couch during the day, and store things under it at night make that an appealing option, if you find it comfortable.

My home mattress is a "sleep number," which is just a fancy air bed.

I had one of these pre-motorhome. It's actually super comfortable and doesn't get sweaty like sleeping on a rubber bed.

    Slumberjack is the brand.

Not sure of the model but I use a deluxe Coleman cot like this. Love it compared to an air mattress. It is surprisingly comfortable. I sleep well in it. The larger Coleman has a few extra inches of leg room. Folds up and doesn’t take too much room. 6x12 trailed as well

sooner or later, air mattresses will leak. they are cold and clammy, suck ass to sleep on. buy a full size mattress, prop it up on the side of the trailer for transport, lay down for sleeping. no inflating, deflating, folding, rolling up, and packing a big bag of wind. you will thank us, your first night with the regular mattress. Why not upgrade the mattress in the truck, and take it out to use at the track? Wouldn't that also be a tax deduction?
