'90 ignition part needed at Daytona!

If anyone has the source coil that goes under the ignition rotor of a '90 TZ that they'd sell, or loan until after Daytona, please contact Chris Spargo at my place- 321-639-7417. He's down here to run Daytona, but the ignition went bad in practice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There must be some ignition voodoo going on in Daytona. Last night another friend lost spark on his '92. Is there a common failure mode for TZ ignitions of that period that I should be aware of???

 

My tachometer crapped the bed last week at Daytona... Does that count..?
