Just curious, I am both a haga fan and an Edwards fan ( Unlike some on this board) and I was wondering if anybody had recent lap times or practice time for the two at Suzuka so we can really know who will carry who at the 8-hour race...
I'm thinking Haga will carry Edwards for a little while only because they will be on a WSB spec bike, right?
This whole Edwards at Suzuka thing is funny in light of Rossi's remarks in his book when Rossi & Edwards competed there together...they apparently loathed it and were really relieved when they did well (won?) so they thought they'd never have to go back...
edwards - as great a racer as he is (and i am certainly a fan) hasnt really set the world on fire this year, so maybe to keep his stock high he agreed to do it. if edwards gets some testing time he shouldnt be too far behind haga at first - if he is behind at all.
