Actually it's usually worse for the Manx/Classic than it is for the TT. August is slightly less predictable about good weather over there than June is, and the days are also slightly shorter which gives slightly smaller windows of opportunity all around. Definitely a bummer about the weather this year. At this point, I'm just hoping everyone rides safely once they finally get to go out.
Well, shit. RIP https://www.manxradio.com/news/isle-of-man-news/tt-competitor-killed-in-snugborough-crash/
I saw the tweet from his wife earlier. Daley was a regular at the big three races, UGP, NW200 and the TT. Rest in peace. The Birchal Brothers make it six in a row. Amazing run. www.iomttraces.com/news/racing/birchall-brothers-take-sixth-straight-tt-win
I just missed it too, lol.. got out of a meeting at work and went straight to put on Manx Radio and heard them interviewing the winners... "wtf?".. two-lap race, cut short by weather. *deep breath*
Who was it that busted his oil pan at the bottom of Barregarrow last year? Dave Kneen/Pacemaker Press
Manx radio sounding hopeful for bikes on course later today. Edit - now they’re playing Who’ll Stop the Rain
