2 day cleanse

    What should I expect?

    Will I just poop a lot or will it cause it to hit me in seconds where I pull the car over and almost die?

    How timely! I have a colonoscopy Wednesday. After my root canal tomorrow.

    Is the diarrhea kool-aid I have to drink tomorrow afternoon pretty much the same thing as what you're talking about?

    I just did three days of nothing but water and 3 protein shakes... it was surprisingly easy and did not poop nearly as much as I thought I would.

    Cleanse of what? Did you get tested for heavy metals or other such contaminants that need to be addressed?

    Too much crap (no pun intended) out there about "cleanses" and "detoxes", mostly by companies trying to sell you something (and they generally amount to something that basically acts as a laxative). Nothing will detox/cleanse you more effectively than your own internal bodily processes. Just make sure you're getting plenty of water, fiber and are exercising and sweating effectively....your body is already continuously "cleansing" your insides. If you have particular heavy metal poisoning issues you are dealing with than there are additional chelating products you might want to consider, but beyond that a "cleanse" isn't going to fix a long-standing (and potentially continuing) shitty diet and lifestyle habits. ;)

    If it's anything like the stuff I took for my colonoscopy, you'll be rushing for the toilet about 45 minutes after the first dose, and when it kicks in it will feel like a garden hose of warm water is running out your butt.

    No cramping, though.

    Forget the TP. Get Huggies, Wet Ones, or a bunch of warm, wet wash cloths.

    Are you talking about a Juice cleanse or the crazy cider, honey and cayenne? Very different experiences. I do juice cleanses for 2 days every so often - I honestly struggle after 2.5 days so I haven’t actually been able to do the 5 days, etc.

    The one big help is to prepare for it. Start with a juice for breakfast and keep the rest of the day normal. The cut out a meal and only do 2 meals, etc. don’t just go cold turkey, definitely get your body used to juices for a meal here and there.

    After about a week of acclimating you’d be surprised how easy 2 days is. Also, this whole atomic shitting everywhere is bullshit. Your shit will be so hard after a day you won’t be able to shit. Well, unless youre doing the water, vinegar, honey and cayenne cleanse the results may vary.

    If its colonoscopy ,a beach towel,and stay at home.Geese don't shit that easy,I know someone that worked for a gastroenterologist and its nasty business,but will cleanse you.
    Porn stars also do a cleanse before filming something that we all know is not gonna happen in real life.
    I'm just passing along satellite radio knowledge.I have zero experience with any of this..Poop away:Pop:

    first time I ever did the juice fast it knocked out some kidney stones.. felt great after the most pain Ive ever encountered though. lol

    I did the 10 day master cleanse thing with lemon juice, cayenne pepper, etc. I made it about 4 1/2 days. I dropped 12 pounds in that time. I went back to my normal diet, and did put 4 pounds back on, but noticed that I became fuller faster, and dropped about a pound a week for the next 12 weeks, taking me from 282 pre cleanse to 262. I don’t know if I just shrank my stomach a bit or finally kicked my metabolism into gear, but something finally worked for me. The weight loss stopped in September, which makes sense, as it’s been a lot of alcohol and food between Labor Day weekend and the hurricanes.

    I did the Ardens Garden two day cleanse a few weeks ago. I had a colonoscopy and my wife didn't want me drinking the antifreeze and wanted me to use magnesium citrate. I didn't want to get rejected or rescheduled for not following the doctors prep so I did the two day prior to the one day prep and lived about my prep.

    The Ardens Garden wasn't bad and I never really felt hungry. You drink a gallon of the stuff a day plus water so it is easy to feel full. It has grapefruit, orange and lemon juice combined with distilled water and no pulp. It didn't give me the trots or anything crazy.

    I came out clean and with a clean bill of health from the doctor

    My trainer suggested it.

    She’s also the one tht got me almost -20 lbs in 2.5 weeks prior to barber.

    She’s a pro physique and nutritionist as well so I’ll take her word for it.

    For the past 2 years my eating habits have been horrendous and almost embarrassing (2 cinnamon rolls from whataburger to start the day)

    Plus I’ve been training quite a few dirt track racers so I figure I might as well start getting in better shape.

    2 teams have approached me for motoamerica rides next year. Can’t stay anfat piece of shit forever.

    This is so true. Cleansing is a bunch of shit. Probably actually does more harm than good due to flushing out desirable bacteria.

    You might want to read up on the salt water flush before starting a cleanse or whatever. Gets you flushed through in 2 h, then you be all set for whatever you eat or don’t eat afterwards
