There is some doubt you have friends, old or otherwise.

My aviator is picture from 1986. Marvin West 208 on my Guzzi with me standing behind. Also Mike Harth on Suzuki 88. They are going out for qualifing.

Marvin qualified 57 as I recall one of only 3 twins to qualify. DNF with valve train problem after 22 laps.

funny... I remember going to the Daytona speedway in 86 but didn't remember it looking that "old".

Thanks for posting, fun race to watch.

Holy cow those announcers are cheesy, though. haha

I got friends! Tons of them! Thousands of them! So many that if they all came to a party I threw, we'd have to have it at the Astro Dome (and only 3 people would be murdered and the lights wouldn't go out).

What bike is the honda? It looks like a stock vf something. the announcer (Denis Torres) seems like the biggest dork ever. Is it just me?

So, you'd give a party in a dome that doesn't exist? Guess it could hold as many as you imagine...

    :D

Seeing Wayne Rainey in Honda leathers still makes me do a double-take.

    Oops! My bad.

Of course, I thought it lost its reason for being when they stopped having the season-opener flat track there in the late `70's.
