Has anyone else noticed how stupid Freddie Spencer is?

You have some good points. But most of this argument comes from simply comparing the regular MotoGP announcers with the Speed announcers......and I'm assuming you didnt get to "enjoy" the speed announcers like we did.
But, honestly, I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth here - I still give them props for showing GP qualifying, and the show was really not all that bad.

 

In 1985 at least, Spencer was much more than Rossi or any other rider ever will be.

Daytona: won 250, Formula 1 and Superbike races.
250GP: six poles, seven wins, won world championship after eight of ten races.
500GP: nine poles, nine lap records, seven wins and world championship.
Suzuka: Broke the lap record on his ninth time around the track.

they said the lap times like one or two times.. 1:24's is what freddie was saying
will they have them up on the motogp site?

Like I said in the other thread...subscribe to motogp.com and you can hear their announcers. It was cool...we were watching on both the computer and TV but we had the TV muted.

 

Jeff, you actually call the races...these guys just talk to hear themselves talk.

Exactly, no matter who was there, he was still slow. And when the leaders are coming down the hill, he's REALLY slow!! :wow:

 

I really liked the shots of them showing Rossi pulling at the crotch of his leathers and calling that a "race routine".

Yeah, right.

His leathers were so far up his ass that he had to have been singing soprano by the end of the weekend.

Every event, every session (practice, qualifying, race) for as long as I can remember (at least the last 3 years, if not longer).
