What'd ya get for the SO for V-Day?

Fresh cut flowers from Costco. Told her I don't want anything. Maybe some good lovin' !

 

Engaged 30 yrs ago on VD. Card and a spa GC.

 

I was born 9 months after VD (Nov 14). Dad always joked that was the year he couldn’t afford flowers. Always thought that was funny until I started thinking about it. If he didn’t get her flowers, that wasn’t the only thing he wouldn’t have gotten.

 

Another loveless V day for me. Fellas, spoil those wimmenz... you're lucky to have them!

 

Nothing, same as always. Maybe some vitamin D later.

 

Same as every year. A local flower shop does “10 weeks of tulips” that starts up this week. She’ll get a dozen tulips/week for the next 10 weeks. A different color every week. I’m just hoping for two lips later tonight.

 

I picked up flowers from Costco last night, she brought home a Russel Stover assortment. Maybe the dogs will pitch in and get a card.

Nothing here either, married almost 32 years. We never really made a big deal out of this day.

 

I sent my dog to daycare and a manicure. Hope he likes it lol

 

Aldi came thru with 2 bunches of flowers for $16 and a $3.xx box of chocolates. I got a bunch of (much better) nuts and chocolates from Krema. It's the little victories in life...

 

This made me laugh. Pastry is chemistry mixed with witchcraft and sorcery. Best left to devoted practitioners of the dark art.

 

Did a fancy dinner Sunday (reservations are easy to get when all the plebs are at home watching the stupor bowl). Going to the beach for a week this Saturday. Business trip tues weds and thurs this week so it’s just me and Rosie tonight.

nothing - she is in cuba...but coming home sat to flowers, steak dinner and a good couple hours of cardio lol.
