I was lucky enough to know the Coombs family pretty well and got to spend time with Loretta at her house during one of the many dual sport rides we did in that area with Alan Brutto and Jeff Russell back in the early 90s. She was a sweet lady and loved all the race families and the atmosphere. RIP.

I rode the Concours to Butcher Holler a couple of years ago right up to the front porch of her house. It is waaayyyy back in the sticks. Pretty cool to see where she came from.
