SMO: Safety Razors

Agree. I prefer the Wilkerson sword blades.

 

I use a Merkur 34C razor with either Voskhod or Astra blades for day to day or Feather blades if I want a really close shave. I would not recommend the Feather blades when you first start as you will cut yourself up pretty bad. I have found the Cremo shave cream to work as well as the hard soap and requires much less fiddling around. Another good thing to do is to make sure you have a styptic pencil to plug any leaks as there is a really good chance you will cut yourself a few times when you first start no matter what blade you have.

 

Anything more than a safety razor is like bottled water..
Nice but totally overpriced.
I like how close the blades shave and how little I spend.
If I only knew this years ago I would have had more drinking money….
