https://www.ebay.com/b/Jacques-Lemans-Wristwatch-Bands/98624/bn_5788491 There's a couple there that look like it will match up with your watch.
Just finished building this - crystal times SKX013 case crown at 3 and some other stuff to recreate the vintage 62MAS look and feel. Overall pretty happy but the Chinese hands and dial lume does not match (going to drive me nuts) - Anyone want to tackle a relume job?
Yes sir. Strap is my favorite part. Its a new release from strapcode and probably the nicest rubber strap I've handled.
Hands are nice. I could try to find some that have a greenish tint like the dial lume but I'm pretty sure it's a roll of the dice on if it will match. May have to order 4 or 5 sets before one matches. Ironically they light up the same color.
Does anyone have experience with the Watch Buyers Group for Rolex repairs? www.thewatchbuyersgroup.com I have a watch in need of repair and would appreciate any recommendations.
Their website isn't confidence inspiring. Unless it is a very low value Rolex, I'd use an authorized service center like https://www.reisnichols.com/watches/designer-collection/rolex/external
Thanks, but I'm not sure I want to invest in it, because I don't wear it that much. I could let the watch go for 100$ obo if anyone is interested. Could make a nice project watch for someone on here.
Either RSC (through your nearest AD) or Rolliworks. RSC if you are OK with them replacing parts back to mint condition. Rolliworks if you want to specify exactly what you want done.
So, last year, I called my AD and told him I WANTED a white Explorer II. I told him I would take an Explorer (white or black) or a black Explorer II. Heard nothing. Called him back about 2 weeks ago to remind him that I still had interest in a white Explorer II and told him I still had interest in taking any Explorer they got in. He said they haven't seen a white Explorer II since they reopened post Covid last May and said it might have been since 2019. I was not expecting the call that I got earlier this week. Made the 3+ hr trip across the state to pick it up this morning.
Other than looking better on top of the dresser, is there anything magical about a $200+ winder? Or will a $50 winder do just fine?
