    Michael Schumacher
Rossi (Marquez will likely claim this eventually IF he can get healthy and stay that way)
John Surtees - for motorsports in general.
    Michael Phelps

Not sure I can think of any other GOATs at the moment. But in my opinion there is no argument to be made against those listed above. All the ball sports have too many greats with decent enough arguments to be made for them. Don't follow hockey.

Past Glory I still have several AVON calendars from the 90's

Roger DeCoster. Aside from his championships as a rider, he brought championships to every manufacturer that had him a team manager, plus he oversaw the longest winning streak in M/XDN.

Seriously Rossi? We probably have at least 15% of the Beeb that thinks it is Ago, Stoner, Rossi or MM. There are multiple threads disputing it.
You have to admit Sainz has regularly kicked Loeb's butt in the Dakar. Loeb is like 12 years younger and should be close to prime rally raid age.

Not changing my mind. Ago had machinery from a different planet than everybody else was on. Only person that would argue Stoner is that numbnuts from Flori-duh. Marc simply doesn't have the career stats yet.

I agree but you really think he gets 90% of the vote? I doubt that.

I go back to my thought that the discussion should be GOTE vs GOAT. Greatest of their Era. Rule changes, technology, better training methods make it hard to compare vastly different eras. Bart Starr is one of the best quaterbacks when it comes to leading a team to a Championship, but he rarely gets mentioned with Brady, Montana, etc. When he played, it wasn't a QB centric, heavy throwing league like it is now.
