Y'all realize this is the first night since April 10th that there isn't a playoff game on TV. That means I've been watching hockey for 30 days straight. WTF am I supposed to do !?

 

Drink some of that famous bourbon and play with guitars and motorcycles. Life's a bitch.

Blues need to wake up.

 

1st game jitters maybe if it was really that easy for the Sharks they will sweep the series.

Carolina is totally overwhelmed in this one. Shit...there's a half period left and it's 6-0.

 

That was brutal and a dick move by Brin D'amour not to pull the goalie.

 

I say gamble and play Mc next game

 

Yeah...poor Mrasik was ghosted by the Bruins.
Don't understand why McIlhenny didn't get his turn.

 

One of the talking heads said that Brind'Amour doesn't believe in pulling his goalies. Someone with his experience should know better than that. Goalies are some of the most mental players in sport. I personally think Mrasik is broken now.

 

Cerebral...yup...but they are resilient also.
We'll see what's up when the 'Canes play at home.

 

Rumor is he will stick with Mrasik. There were a couple of questionable goals but he did make some quality saves as well. Mrasik team wasn't exactly a stone wall in from to f him either.

Good game with both teams banging the crap out of each other.
Blues got in gear and outplayed the Sharks in that 3rd period.
Back to St. Louis tied at 1-1.

 

Blues definitely stepped up for game two!

 

What a freaking game tonight could have gone either way. Rask was just freaking amazing.

 

Owen was last seen in the Carolinas.

 

Bullshit no-call to end the SJ/SL game.
I have a feeling that will be one of the reviewable calls next year.

 

I was so pissed that I turned off the TV the second the OT goal went in. Didn't even know there was some controversy until this morning. And the worst part is...I don't really like either team so I don't know why I'm so worked up about it

 

Blues got hosed on that one. Pretty obvious hand pass even watching it at full speed. Maybe the refs thought it bounced off the blues players leg. Who knows the game is fast for sure. I was pulling for St Louis last night for the girl Laila. Dam video of her being told she was going to the game was a tear jerker for sure.

 

That's exactly why I was cheering for them! I felt worse for her than I did the Blues.
