Tough penalty no doubt but a correct call nonetheless. Like stated prior, as long as movements are enforced equally with every riders, I have zero issues as it stands now. I think a ride through is good because it really puts some teeth into the rule of zero forward movement until the lights.
Nowadays that many people can publicly voice their opinion on something “unfair” - there is a quick outcry to change rules. Applies to all areas of life. Even bathrooms.
But the spectators were cheated on by Cal, who knew the rules and broke them. Not the rule itself or the enforcer.
What, page 14 and no one has commented on the fact that Rossi shook Marquez' hand after the race? Actually, it's nice to see. The unnecessary continuation of the drama seemed petty. And, it was Rossi who reached out, which was good, since he previously refused... https://www.gpone.com/en/2019/03/31...quez-shake-their-hands-before-the-podium.html
Sure, the ride through is harsh, you probably lose close to 30 seconds by the time you slow/ride through/get back to speed. The facts remain that Cal should know the rules and 22 other riders stayed still until lights-out.
They see me rollin' They hatin' Patrolling and tryin' to catch me ridin' dirty Tryin' to catch me ridin' dirty Tryin' to catch me ridin' dirty Tryin' to catch me ridin' dirty Tryin' to catch me ridin' dirty
Everyone is just pissed that they didn't get to see Cal go gravel surfing and talk about having the pace to win. It's OK. Sam Lowes made up for it.
Obviously he wouldn’t have won, but look at his race time minus what he lost on his ride thru, then you’ll see he most likely would been on the podium.
Beeb still the beeb. At least 4 solid pages arguing about a guy who has zero chance of winning the title, losing a few points in a race he had zero chance of winning, on an infraction that he clearly committed and a penalty that is laid out in the rule book. Carry on!
All u Cal haters are gettin confused. Its OK to hate Marquez and Lorenzo Its not OK to hate Cal or Rossi.
