That's why there are two different words for "better" and "unforgettable." This race had the potential to be better then it was, even if it wasn't going to be unforgettable.

 

Am I the only one that sees the safety wire around the grips on a motogp bike?

 

Have mine on my R6 done. Always had it that way. Then again, I am kinda old.

Did that on street bikes, always wired my track bikes.

 

Didn't cagiva Have grips with lock cinch bolts in motogp back in the day? I can't believe they don't make them for race bikes. Even mountain bikes all have them now.

Can't wait until they all line up 3 feet back and start pushing their bike forward on their toes to get a 'running' start. "But I didn't let out the clutch!!!"

I just have some super grip glue on mine and it works amazing so far.

 

I think he may have something else going on.

 

I just watched a 20-minute onboard-highlights show on TV. It's even better than these photos. One of his corner worker buddies stood at his left to get in the photo with him. He pushed him out of the way. He didn't want anyone spoiling his moment.

 

One would think the likelihood of a rider impacting the championship would be greater if they didn’t jump the start. Crazy thought, I know. LOL

 

I saw that too. He just shoved him away, like dude, GTFOTW then back to taking the selfie.
