Duck pineapple curry is my go to at any thai restaurant to see if they are any good. Panang is good too. My brother lives in LA and damn there is some good thai food there. I assume it's pretty good in thailand, too. I don't eat much Indian food though. I should try it more...
A typical Friday night out in the UK when I was younger , 5-8 pints and a curry afterwards. Made Saturday mornings in the bathroom an experience. I like a good Balti, served directly in the bowl with naan used to scoop it up.
I was just about to put in Malaysian curry. Then I remembered katsu and started writing that. Then I thought of curried goat, then Indian curry, then, well you get the idea. All but Thai, I can't get over sweet curries.
It shouldn't need to be said: German and curry is a very poor mix. You folks forgot all the good African curries. Berbere, Wat, Harissa, Ras el Hanout, etc. Personally, I find the Japanese/Korean curries the least interesting, and I still make them occasionally.
Any good Indian Curry and Naan recipes you guys use? I've wanted to make Naan (I have a ceramic smoker) but making curry at home seems to be the hard part. The store bought packs and jars are ok at best.
Greatest stuff ever on a brat/brat patty. I don’t care what anyone says. Told the Johnsonville guys the same thing when they tried to tell me that brats are supposed to have only mustard.
I’ve always been partial to Indian curry, but I spent some time in Japan and developed a liking for Japanese curry. I make it at least twice a month. i boughr an Indonesian cookbook, and have been exploring Indonesian curry. Spicier than Japanese curry, but not as much as my favorite „London Hot“ Indian curries. Lots of interesting flavors, but more focused on vegetarian than the Indian or Japanese varieties. My theory is thst if you are not gasping for breath after each bite, your curry is weak
