You fuckers are killing me. I just told the wife “we have to go to GameStop after we leave the gym. It’s super important”. Then she looked over and saw me on my phone when I said it and was like “tell the guys on the forum to stop it”.
Heres a good deal if you're in the market for a TV. https://www.frys.com/search?search_...query_string=UN58MU6070&nearbyStoreName=false Extra $20 with an emailed code too. Way cheaper than cost!
Do you have Fry's electronics? I picked up a 75" 4K smart Samsung for $1499. They just sent a sale flyer again for the same price. Been a good TV so far. The remote is a little dated, but otherwise works great.
Proof that Walmart sells crap. I was at a client site last weekend and he showed me the power board from the TV he bought there. One of the connectors wasn't even soldered! He was having intermittent issues for a couple years before he decided to take a look. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
Wouldn't that be the manufacturers fault, not Wal-Mart? That's like blaming the local Honda dealer when your Takata airbag blew shrapnel all over you....or if you are old like me, blaming the local car dealer when your Ford Pinto exploded after you were rear ended.
But in order to prove that point, you’d have to prove that B.B. has never sold a tv with a similar issue. One story of a single friend with a bad board doesn’t prove anything beyond it can happen.
I'm starting to research my next upgrade. With black friday incoming and wanting to get something that will be on-par with what the upcoming PS5 I'm trying to weigh my options. I've looked at a couple of the OLED options that are out there and holy crap are they some amazing picture quality. I noticed that Vizio just recently jumped in and now have a 55 and 65 inch OLED option. The reviews I've read have the picture quality on par with the LG OLEDs but obviously for alot cheaper price (even though they use an LG made panel ). However, the burn-in concerns since I will be gaming on it have me wondering if perhaps one of the better rated QLED panels from either Samsung or Vizio Q-series might make more sense since they don't have burn-in issues.....but damn, that [properly calibrated] OLED picture quality is just intoxicating.
Been playing PS on 2x 65" OLED's for a couple of years now, with no issues whatsoever. I have the PS4 hooked up to the one in the bedroom, and a PS3 (or it might be a PS2, i can't remember...I just know i had to get an older one so i could play NBA Jams) hooked up to the one in the Living Room. Both TVs still look/work good as new.
Not sure what you video and audiophiles think of TCL, but I’ve bought five of them in the past year and think they’re a fantastic TV.
