Sounds like the end of Kawasaki domination in WSBK.

I thought Duc indicated this V4 would be in 1200cc form only for the street and not SBK use

And I was so-wanting to stop riding sport bikes on the street. That bike sounds amazing. Wonder what exhaust Sys they had on it, because that certainly wouldn't pass EPA regs in American

As in they're not racing it, or they're going to make a 1000cc R version for racing?

Sounded like an RSV4 with an Akra.

There's now way they don't make it to race in WSBK, that's what Gigi has been wanting for a long time.

    I hope it's a lot lighter than the RSV4

I can imagine his first day on the job at Ducati.

"Step one is to finally throw in the towel on this shit-heap v-twin. I don't care how many times chaotic posts the torque figure. It sucks."

I still love a v-twin. Is it the fastest way to get around a race track? No, absoutly not, but puts a big smile on your face. Nothing like an insane amount of torque at 4000 rpms. Had an rc51 and an 848. On the street first gear power wheelies from 5 mph makes me laugh and enjoy life. Got my new / old triumph 2009 last night. Just doing track days. Can't wait to have/and see a triple on the track. Maybe the best of both worlds if you just trying to have fun and just scrape your knees/ maybe an elbow

There's a place for twins but not in premier superbike classes anymore. The technology disparity is too great. I think it's insane how much extra displacement Ducati gets already. It should be 1000cc, don't care your configuration.

In MotoGP I'm not a fan of them putting the cylinder cap on that. The v5 was wicked and a genius of engineering.

Yeah, I hear you, its got to a point of how high do you go? Still can never understand harleys/choppers. 1500cc+ and make 90 hp
