So, at the beginning of lap 2 they could essentially display the penalty flag which gives him another lap before he could reasonably come in...lap 3. Earlier the better I would think...more laps to catch up. Whole thing don't FEEL like a penalty unless he has no idea when the flag will come out. If he begins lap 2 with a ride thru will that serve as him serving his penalty?
I think if you gave Fabio the choice of when to take it, he'd take it as late as possible (giving him time to break away and build up a lead). Taking it earlier means more bikes get between you and the leader.
The entire long lap penalty and how it’s being implemented and how Fabio is able to prepare and practice for it just seems a bit ridiculous. Might as well just forgo the actual riding through part and just add 8 tenths of a second after the race and be done with it. It’s just gotten a little goofy for being the premier class.
Fast and furious lol https://the-race.com/motogp/the-initial-verdict-on-ducatis-new-fast-and-furious-aero/
Same with the Taka incident. They're penalizing guys for you know, actually racing. MotoGP is going towards manufactured drama vs. actual racing, a'la F1.
Jeezus.... between the hair and the teeth, he's just a couple of face tats away from being one of the Island Boys!!
