Awesome qualifying. I love when it’s non stop P1s. Shame for Quat and Marc with Pols crash and their fastest times yanked but great session.

Fantastic Moto2 qualifying. So excited to see what cam can do tomorrow because last year he had two top 10s and didn’t start on the front row.

 

They need to modify the yellow flag rule somehow. It's horseshit.

Only 15 minutes on a drying track where the best lap is going to be the latest one possible, and Marc gets penalized for another rider's mistake.

Didn't Marc also get hosed last weekend at COTA during qualifying when Quartararo crashed?

I think I counted 4 corner workers in the gravel rock trap on the outside as Marquez went around that curve at full speed. Yeah, fuck 'em.

It takes too long, it can turn into a logistical nightmare, it's unfair when the weather is changing, I think the negatives outweigh the positives.

 

It's a conspiracy, people are intentionally crashing to put MM at a disadvantage

Not my job. I don't get paid to write the rules and provide a fair and competitive environment.

But to answer what was probably a rhetorical question: send riders out individually for a limited number of hot laps. Extend the session. Allow riders impacted by the yellow flag to complete another lap. That's just off the top of my head. I am sure there's a more fair and workable solution than what is in place.

Tough break for sure, but thats the way it goes. No way of predicting when others crash; although, MMs situation was somewhat compounded from the weather and resulting changing track conditions.
Hopefully, one of MMs crew members rubs his ball sack on Pols pastel de nata.
