Happening today at 11 AM EST.

The one thing you can probably be pretty sure of, is that it won't happen at 11AM. I'll have a stream running all day today keeping an eye on it, but for those who are serious about watching but can't do that I recommend downloading the app - Nextspaceflight. It pushes notifications for important events and the link to the video.

Also, if you're really nerdy, search YT for Nasaspaceflight. They have a commentary running all day and have some cameras set up close. Great guys that are really active in following this whole process.

Some buddies and I have a failure bingo going. There are so many thing that can go wrong that regardless the outcome, this will be entertaining to watch!

I think the smart money would be on an aerodynamic instability or structure failure on the way down. Pretty confident on the flight up, and if they can actually get SN8 back to vertical after the "crazy elon", then I think they'll land it.

My money is on the engine not restarting. The team is working through a lot of thermal issues that could cause problems with restart amongst other things. That or loss of control authority as the vehicle is coming vertical due to being marginal on the RCS propellant they're carrying.

Probably around 45 minutes or an hour out from the test.

Fueling now, NASA plane in the area but no SpaceX stream yet but says targeting 5:3o eastern

If it has a controlled decent on it's side that would be a win
