That was fantastic. If I had anything to do with that I'd be puddling up too!

Ha HA, once again we proved that we still do what we did 75 years ago...progress has no bounds!
When they can land that thing on the launch pad and take back off again I'll be impressed. Their new suits are cool, I'll give them that.

That was extremely cool to watch.

14 y.o. kiddo is a huge SpaceX fan. After we watched that, I turned and said:
"Those people are turning 'extraordinary' into 'ordinary.'"

As a guy who grew up during the Apollo years, the accomplishments of SpaceX are simply breathtaking.
It's extremely cool to experience it all alongside my boy...brings back a lot of my own memories and excitement from back in the day.
Hoping/planning to take him down to witness a launch sometime soon...

I know it's not as exciting as lacrosse but no mention of the 2nd hop? When are they gonna send one to cruising altitude already

Another smooth operation. Next step is another test to failure for a tank. After that, things are less clear. Probably another 150m hop after that, but not a certain thing.

Seeing a legitimate test article stacked will be awesome.

For those out of the loop, the last couple flight tests have just been 150m "hops" from a launch mount to a landing pad. In a couple weeks (hopefully) there will be a test to 15km. It will involve three engines instead of just one and include a skydive maneuver that I don't think any spacecraft has attempted before. Successful or not, it will be incredible to watch.

Meh Wait until we see the full thing falling like a skydiver then the kick fire. I wouldn't bet any money on the first landing attempt being successful though. Epic yes, successful not so much

I've been to Boca Chica half a dozen times. The first time I never saw anything so pitiful. Since then the progress is just hard to comprehend. I'm going to try to be there when this thing blasts off.
