    My FIL is down there, wife was on the phone with him when the launch was happening, he could see it, he's in Brooksville.

    Walked out of my front door and caught the orange glow of the engines pushing the Astronauts into space. Clear skies here in Central Florida.

    Time to make the drone ships smaller to save money. Doesn’t appear they need that big of a landing zone anymore.

    They can put that money into Raptor development. I mean really. How hard is it to make a full flow combustion rocket engine that doesn’t melt a preburner? It’s not like it’s rocket scie......eeer

    Enough with the static burns. Put a new engine on SN8 and send it already.

    Looks like they are going for the "send it" approach though. SN9 is almost ready anyways. But having a nice size crater in your tank farm would be nice to avoid.

    Just wait until you see the floating space ports. :D

    Also, you wouldn’t want to go too much smaller and be more at risk of ocean dynamics. There have been more than a few boosters that have almost toppled after landing.
