Guys: have pulled the plug on racing as of last year. Was building this thing with the intent of doing V5 and then bumping into a few other classes. Rick Lance engine . We went with the 400 motor as the parts/cases are a lot more plentiful than the scarce 500s. Stock braced frame and swinger (cleaned up and modded by Dave LaMerrill). I'd love to see this project go to a good home and actually be raced in Vintage. But no idea if there's any interest out there. I'll gather some pics and get them up soon.

PS The engine/ frame are 1985 vintage but did NOT start life together. Rick L sold me the chassis and motor as a complete package before he passed.

Rear seat unit has custom subframe to house the Lomas pipes, upper and lower are from moulds off an actual RGV500 (Dave has kept the moulds for many years after getting them from a customer), tank is RGV250,
Dymag rear rim, entire front end is USD GSXR1000 with radial calipers to meet the v5 rules. Yes I did check with Mongo before beginning this build to make sure he would allow into V5. Kick or bump start of course. rear rim uses a 165 tire, front is a normal 120 tire.

Bike is currently with Dave in NJ, I'll be bringing her home to NE ohio most likely in May. Any interest, ping me at crowell99 at ye good ole Gee Mayle.
PS bodywork is fiberglass per v5 rules with some reinforcement at the fasten points. Seat started life as a 1992 honda rs250 tailsection from Airtech.
