You heard me. How much dough would you fork over to ride a 2019 GP bike at Mugello for one session. 6 laps.

Full power, fresh tires. Control rider who is faster than you. No worries about it being a parade lap.

Could you buy more than one? I’d pay a lot for three sessions, but one is a tough sell. I feel like in 6 laps it would still be sensory overload and you wouldn’t have time to get past the “what the fuck” stage of riding something that ridiculous.

I’d want a couple of chances to get off the thing, clean out my drawers, regroup and try again.

But the bike...make sure it has steel disks 'cause you ain't gonna run it hard enough to be able to stop with the carbons. Even Bostrom couldn't do it at Laguna.

 

Nothing. I wouldn’t even want to be on a WSBK spec bike. My 140 hp 2003 R1 is plenty thanks.

Now, a spin on a well set up Moto 2 or even Moto3 bike is something I would pay for.

 

Yeah 6 laps wouldn’t be enough time on a brand new bike and a brand new track.
