Nonsense. Bautista is the bestest rider in the history of the universe just ask the beeb. I'm not a huge fan of Sykes but I am a fan of that BMW and I hope they get that thing squared away. Most interesting new superbike imo and doesn't get enough press. That machine is all kinds of badass. ETA: On a sadder note the Honda still fkn sucks.
Well results after FP1 & FP2 have been pretty good predictors of the race winner the first three WSBK rounds this year.
Bautista is going to sandbag, shadowing Rea the whole race, then blow past coming out of the chicane for the win.
Well, I guess that depends on how well the girls go for a has-been of his caliber. He may end up having to beat something else.

I used to race at Blackhawk Farms in northern IL with CCS. One April race control had everyone go on track in their cars to get a light snow off the track, and yes, a pace car was used.
In ‘95 at the season’s first event at Roebling it snowed. Don’t remember if it was a WERA or CCS event. I wore rubber surgical gloves under my leather ones to keep my hands warm. (It didn’t work). They ended up canceling the Sunday races because medivac helicopters weren’t able to fly.
I was there at my first race. Afterword, we were trying to check out of the hotel and the lady said "You ain't going nowhere." The interstate was shut down due to ice. So we skidded over to Spanky's and ran up a barbill that would have made a Busey think we had gone a little too far.
Apparently it just started flurrying again in Denver. The SX track was covered in snow a day ago. Should make things interesting there tonight too.
