Recharge. That way if you run more than one bike per weekend you can. If you’re only ever going to run one single bike then that’s another story.
buy a 260X. That way you can ride another bike at some point without wiring. if you quit racing sell it for what you paid.
I have a hard wired and put a connector on it, I think I just repurposed my turn signal connectors and wired it power to key on. Don't have to worry about charging batteries or them not taking a charge. I can swap between bikes a couple seconds slower than someone with a wireless transponder.
I’d have to do a separate switch. My pods buttons have different functions attached to them but that’s a good idea. I’m always for having “less to go wrong” things. Talking more specifically Westhold transponders
I use a wired amb 260, works great. Bought it on eBay a few years ago for around $250 but they are up to $500+ just like the wireless.
