I'd told myself I'd never own one of these. This bike having taken the life of my best friend. However, the urge and need to obtain one and show it who's boss is increasing. Anyway, Whom here has/had one? I'm hoping someone may have also owned a panigale and can compare the two? I'm curious how the electronics are and the ease of use of them. I'm currently riding a Panigale 1299S.
Good call. I only have a minty K5, ECU flashed and no other electronics or QS, Bazzaz TC, or anything. Other than loving my spirited street twisty riding bike- I'm no help
first rule of gsxr ownership... do not join GIXXER.com! Also the required "tramp stamp" tattoo isn't all that bad. Most owners get it done on their buttocks or inner thigh. On page 5 of ANY gsxr owners manual is the famed "yut ugh" expression... gives you a matrix of when, where, & how it is to be used. I could be killed for revealing these owner secrets so please please buy one quickly!
I was going to get one but got a 2018 Harley CVO Street Glide instead. If it’s like most other Suzuki’s 1000’s it will rip pretty well right off show room floor. Suspension, pipe and tune, rip.
K5/6 Liter- The lightest, best handling, most power with meger mods.- K5 for the win.... until the L7 that is
I was looking for a clean 05 or 06 GSXR 1000 for my street bike after riding one because it handled incredible. Then I stumbled upon an absolute mint 06 R1 50th anniversary and never looked back ... can't go wrong with either
It's a really good bike for the track. I spent all of last year working on a couple of them. It's not as easy to set up as older ones - fly by wire and all that - but it's fast and light. Brake upgrade is the must-have change.
The second image is essentially what I'll spec it like. Isn't that Yoshi can specific to that race team or race class however? The Next couple of months will see the GSXR come about, I am sure.
Im confused. I thought the term came from the famous craigslist stunter bro giving stunter lessons that basically were just him saying to yut ugh! with the throttle.
