If that speedy is new $3200 is about in line. You can grab the original moon watch usually for about $3300 on the grey market. Great watch for the money and a very well respected one. I've eyed them for a long time, one day I'll pull the trigger on it. Only thing that has stopped me is i'm only an 80% fan of its looks, but 200% fan of its heritage so to me its more of watch just to have for the sake of having one.
Grab the new Tudor Black Bay GMT with Pepsi bezel instead and save yourself several grand. https://www.tudorwatch.com/watches/...-0001?ef_id=WdJ62gAABBW0rw2j:20180323153532:s
Nich, that's pretty damn alright. Hate the hands and it looks a bit awkward but I'll have to see one in person.
Tudor makes some clean looking watches. Really like the Black Herintage Bay I am however always thinking about getting a Omega SeaMaster and wearing it daily, but I dont know if I should.
yeah. You cant buy it cause all the D bags in Palm Beach/Treasure Coast and Persians in LA already bought them all up...
All things considered, you cant knock Rolex for the execution. They have some of the best gem setters in the world. Ugly as hell - yes. Done with extreme high quality - yes.
Evelyne hates the bling Rolex So why is that Omega a Moonmaster? I was expecting phases of the moon to show somewhere. Still trying to figure out what to sell to get a blue Deep Sea. Anyone want to buy a Buell 1125R?
Yeah, went searching. Blue is 12,550 retail. Kind of glad I'm too poor to get it. It is absolutely gorgeous tho
Not a fan of the black text on it proclaiming the "Original Gas Escape Valve". Get rid of that and I'm a big fan.
Manual wind Speedmaster Pro was the watch approved by NASA for space flight. Also the only watch then, and still I believe, approved for EVA. The guys that landed on the moon wore them. Hence, Moon Watch. BTW, Space worn "moon watches" are a tad pricey....here's one from ISS service https://uncrate.com/space-worn-omega-speedmaster And the price if its been to the moon http://www.collectspace.com/news/news-102315a-apollo-moon-watch-bulova.html The real Speedmaster moon watches are in the Smithsonian.
