Died October 7, 2007 in a streetbike accident in Japan.

 

Same here. Spent the rest of that day wrapping up the club business and sitting with friends. I was on track when it happened, was held at the exit of turn two while they figured out what was going on. I knew it was Claud, and I knew it was bad. I still miss him, and I think about him all of the time.

I posted Rodney Preast passing earlier in this thread but it was on this day (October 16th) in 1998 we lost Rodney at the GNF's. Gone but not forgotten.

Jay Ridgeway, national #67 Turn one, Duquoin IL mile July 31st 1977. Jay was in a coma and passed away on August 9th 1977.

I cant believe its almost been 40 years but I still remember that day like it was yesterday.
