If you care enough about a sports team that you get so spun up, I don't think you can blame the kicker for you out of control emotions.....
I'm not typically superstitious, but I turned away for every one of Prater's kicks yesterday. Being a Lions fan, you're used to being on the short end of the stick one way or another. He hit that 58 yarder like it was a chip shot. I'm still expecting disappointment eventually, but Stafford has been playing lights out since midway through last season. Would just be nice to get some sort of defensive/special teams scoring to not force a fourth quarter comeback every, single game.
Stafford definitely has the fourth quarter locked down. Guy has been amazing. He still seems to make at least one WTF was that kinda throw from time to time.
I have generally thought the same thing, but so far this season, I hadn't found myself saying that until that pick yesterday. The issue I'm finding is that while they're only half a game out, the Packers generally come around starting in December. And the Lions conversely, do not. We'll see. I've never been so optimistic about being one game over .500.
Thank you, Vikings, for getting Sam Bradford at the last minute. Iggles football sucks slightly less without Sammy Sleeves.
Putter, I've been pulling for your Vikings. Hate the Packers more than any other team. Lions come next. And it is going to kill me if they win the division which is becoming a possibility. Don't bitch about your kicker. We got rid of one of the best and now have to deal with Connor Barth
"Before yesterday, teams down 3 with the ball inside their own 30 yard line with less than 30 seconds remaining were 0-98" - And then Stafford happened.
