I have no idea what the "Gamma List" is, but you are correct. Do you know the history of the TZ750 he is warming-up? Don
Hey Don, Everybody knows the history of Kurt Lentz's TZ750. We were at the Barber Vintage Festival when I took that video. Mike was going to be racing the bike and was warming it up before practice. Mr. go-fast guy Brian Henderson is in the background with the TZ750 he will be riding, belonging to Russ Bigley. TZ Mike is an excellent source of hard to find TZ750 parts that he is having re-manufactured. Mark
Suzuki RJ66 three cylinder 125 from the mid-60's. They made a 50cc version too, the RP66 which never raced, the rules were changed to single cylinder bikes before it hit the track. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
The tank is DT 250 Trail maby the engine also but I hade ones back time but the topp dident have flipt spark plug, straigt upp on my.
I kind of cheated, figuring the 2 stroke wizards would be all over it. It is a DT2 with a DT1 cylinder to make it legal, no reed valve, for the pre 68 vintage classes. The DT1 has a square section swing arm and the DT2 has a round tube swing arm. I don't know whether the DT1 swing arm would be better or not. The other interesting part is that the DT1 and 2 have the same stroke, but the 1 has a longer rod. So I had to use a Suzuki TS250 piston to get the porting back to DT1 spec. I don't know if the longer rod will make a difference with the short rod port timing. If I ever get it finished we'll find out. Ken PS I like this thread, it is good winter fun
