He's holding a press conference at 6:30 Friday night (Misano time) to announce his plans.

Word is he will not be with Tech 3.

If he doesn't stay with Yamaha MotoGP, then I hope it's on a "factory" Yamaha in WSBK.

He said he would not be with Tech 3 during his interview at Indy, but did not offer any further info... it'll be interesting to see what he's been working for next year.

I can tell you he's staying in motogp so he won't be in WSBK.

You mean the team that won't exist in 2012? :Poke:

He's staying in MotoGP for sure.

So far I've heard (in no order):

    BMW in WSK
Sutter BMW in MotoGP for Forward.
Tech 3 CRT yamaha with an R1 motor for Forward.
    Suzuki MotoGP
    Ducati in WSK

That's just the ones I can remember right now.

The "factory" thing was aimed at there being a Yamaha team along the lines of the Althea Ducati squad. Ex-factory equipment.....

    HPPT !!!

Those mofos keep re-announcing my damn scoops. Every time. :D

But to be honest, I heard the engines would be Yamaha.

Gawd, I hope he doesn't race a CRT, that'll just be painful to watch.

All i can say is i hope colin sticks around a bit longer to ride with his texas bro ben on them 1000cc motor bikes. I wanna see some mericans wrangle thos beasts and show the midgets how to do it.

  18. The midgets seem to be able to ride the 1000cc bikes just fine. It only took Jorge a couple of laps to get up to speed on the Yamaha. Althoug, I am hoping there will be some options opening up as far as the race line is concerned. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I still think that once shit is more worked out on them, that the more muscular manly men riders, aka the americans, will have a slight advantage.

True, butt that won't stop us from baseless speculations in the meantime.
