Just finished building it... yes another Cannondale, I love them! Super Six Hi Mod, Full Dura Ace 7900, Ritchey Carbon Bars, Stem, & Seatpost, Easton EC90SL Carbon Clincher Rims, 15 LBS on the nose (without pedals. Going to get custom fit tomorrow and will add the bar tape after that. Now all I need is some pimp WERA Cycling Gear to go with it...
As classless as it may be Why not go ahead and let the non cycling masses know how much coin something like this runs.
Very nice bike. That 7900 Dura Ace is the bomb! Keep an eye out for those texting drivers. I'm on my second Trek Madone after getting hit by a car that ran a stop sign a few weeks back.
they are coming out with new durace shit cause the new ultegra shit is nicer than this latest 7900. They thought that D12 shit would take off but for 3k not many people will buy it. Srams releasing something new too and so is campy. I have a cervelo with full campy record with easton wheels too. Wheels are bomb proof, I jump up curbs and pot holes with no issues. Mine are tubies so its a little different than clinchers. Looks good!
Sweet bike...I am upgrading my Cannondale Six-5 next year and hoping to get this....Trek Madone 5.5 I want to upgrade wheel set to XXX Race lite...
Once upon a time I had a sweet M800 with a then new Manitou fork...that fork set me back about $500 iirc, and I was labeled the idiot for dropping that kind of money on my bike. Looking back, $500 for an elastomer fork was retarded, but I couldn't imagine dropping 9 large for a bike these days. maybe cuz I'm poor now. Either way, that bike is NICE...love it!
I know nothing about bicycles; none of the things in the OP even made sense to me. I just started riding a bicycle for training purposes last week and I thought my $1,900 Specialized bike was expensive. $9k. Wow.
nice bike. for the once a month that I use a bike in the spring, i still use my $400 hybrid Trek bike for "training"
I don't know squat about road bikes myself, but that is one handsome machine, even moreso if you're into the alphabet.
