I hope not. My check engine light came on and I was hoping one of the auto techs on here could diagnose the problem over the intertubes for me.
Are you huffing paint fumes? It's a "check engine light"...it means you check the light, not the engine...duhhhhh
you can always go to the auto parts store and get a code checker for about 80 bucks. then you will allways be able to get the codes yourself. OBD 1 is pretty much 1995 and older, obd2 is 96 and some 95's and newer. Just look at the plug under the dash. Get the code and you might be able to fix your car yourself .. for free labor
What would be the fun in that? The all knowing beebs has the answer, you just have to ask the right question.
