The dudes at work don't even try to discuss "world affairs" with me anymore because they know I won't know or give a shit. Aside from the Ukraine and Russia, because everyone keeps talking about it, I can't tell you what other countries are in conflicts, or which economies are doing good/bad, which actors won awards lately, what sports teams won any championships, what celebrities got married, who is running for any offices, so on and so forth.

When you have cut everyone with negativity out of your life, don't watch the news, never talk to people, and don't mess with social media...it is amazing how drama free life can be.

So yes, I can confirm that ignorance is bliss.
