Get the tw, then he can put drunk wimmens on the back and take them to his place for shelter. It's for safety. Also, do not skimp on insurance
Aren't the TW's (like Suzuki's unlamented RV 90/125) made basically for sand? Friend's gf had one and I recall he said it's handling on pavement was....interesting.
They do fairly well in the sand, but they weren't designed for sand. Technically, they're considered a "farm bike". Handles perfectly fine on the pavement.
This pretty much sums it up... Looks fun, in an utilitarian way. I'd buy one. I'd not be doing much street riding with it, but camping, hunting, exploring...sure, why not?
Cr500. Preferably ported and piped so it comes on like a bus full of hookers at a billionaire convention and enough compression to snap Bo Jackson’s legs.
When I taught the MSF course, we used them and they sure could take a beating and still function well.
It's hard to overemphasize how tiny the Grom is. I can't imagine a 6'5" guy riding one. The TW is a much better fit. That being said, a scooter would be even better. Ignore the haters @rd400racer. That TU is a great little bike.
