Yamaha stamped part numbers...

    I have a couple 08+ R6 airboxes but I'm not sure what year they are. Any way to get that information from the numbers stamped on them. Most of the numbers are the same but a couple are different (photos) but nothing resembles the part numbers on line.

    Looks like some production code, not a part number per say (imo)

    That's a material code. It tells you what plastic and glass fiber the airbox is made from.

    Polypropelene with 10% glass fiber. Cheap stuff.
