Would you consider this child abuse?

I may be a little hardened to it but putting a child in a closet for 10 minutes is execssive but not actual abuse. Hitting, beating to me is abuse, the daycare provider could have done a lot worse. I dont agree to securing the hands behind the back but why did she do it? Was the child hitting another kid and thats why she tied her hands up? I was made to stand in a corner at the end of a dark hallway (among other things for discipline) for a lot longer than 10 minutes, not much different than a closet. When kids play hide and go seek they place themselves in much worse places willingly so Im not sure being put in a closet for 10 minutes as discipline qualifies as abduction and abuse.
