Bartender at the hotel I stayed at in St. Thomas changed my life. He called it a white Russian but I'm not sure that's how they make white Russians in bars. I have never had one, though, so I can't be positive. But that drink in St. Thomas was essentially a milkshake with booze. Changed my life.
Ah got ya, yeah there is a blood version. The normal one in the US is meat/rice and spices and is pretty yummy.

Nope. boudin is sausage - there are all sorts of variations just like any sausage. Seriously, boudin is an old school Norman word, still used in like Luxembourg and Belgium and of course cajun country, just means sausage.

When I was a freshman at the University of Vermont in 97, I went to all the frat parties because that’s where the chicks were. All they served were cans of genessee, the beast and one other god awful beer. I learned to funnel a 40 in my second week to not have to taste it.
