Is it normal to have to provide your own bolts for the clamp halves and the bars?

Yes, normal if you're buying race parts off Temu.

Careful what you use!! I knew of someone’s racing career ended from some crappy clip-ons !!!!! Not gonna name who !! But they are still doing business!!!

Do not be cheap when it comes to handle bars or sprockets !!! Cheap sponsorship that gives you stuff or discounted does not always pay off!!

:crackup:No, not from there!!! They’re one of our own American brands well involved in racing a long time. I admit things like clip ons and rear sets etc, I’ve always picked up used from other racers when I was first putting my bike together years ago.. But it was always oem or woodcraft/vortex. I thought maybe I fucked up the order and didn’t specify needing the bolts or something, but thought it odd regardless. Oh well, ran to a couple places and got the bolts. Not looking to go any further in case I fucked up ordering.

Not with Woodcraft. Can't remember with Vortex (was a long time ago).
No affiliation, just a very satisfied customer for many years.

I’d call them. Sounds like they may have been forgotten in the kit. Every set I’ve ever ordered has been a complete set with all necessary parts

10 ss cap screws from local hardware stores and done. Sure, when it’s crunch time and trying to get stuff done it sucks. But the world continues turning. I know the company is a great company and great products…….so chalking it up to, It’s just the type of shit luck I have:cool::D

Guessing their manuf partner is in China. Not the best quality control there.

For the rearsets on the Street Triple I had to use a couple of OEM bits for the rear brake, but they were specifically mentioned in the instructions and on the website. But for the clipons on the GSXR, the aftermarket bits are so different that I don't think the stock bolts even fit.
