Many of you know that I work in Public Education ( yes I know - bad career choice). That said I generally avoid as much interaction with my "peers" as possible, however I occasionally make the mistake of reading staff emails as opposed to just deleting them (most don't apply to me as I function under SOS regs more that ISBE regs). Anyway...in an effort to sound smart or whatever, many in education like to use "tacticool" industry terms, abbreviations, and slang/jargon. So my question is - WTF is a Ted Talk?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TED_(conference) www.TED.com They've been going on for awhile now, where you been? Just like most other sources there is lots of good content and lots of crap.
I’ve watched several of them. Sometimes it’s just celebrity on their soapbox but I’ve found the majority of them are quite informative.
I think about this one literally every time I go to the bathroom: Also, you're probably tying your shoe wrong.
His part in the PlanB Questionable video is still one of my favorites... especially the debut of Casper slides and Blunt slides.
