I just went though this a month ago for VIR. I bought this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130371298238&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT However, I found the company that manufactures them and called and ordered directly and they honored the Ebay price. They sell spare parts which is a definite plus. http://www.deltacanopy.com/ I was quite impressed with mine at VIR and even used the sides until it got windy. My only complaint is the bag....not the greatest, but works. It isn't a roller like the EZ ups.
EZup pulled out of the items to be trashed at work in 1989. Straightened out the frame and been using ever since. I have patched the rips in the original canopy w/iron on patches. 21 years and counting. Spend the money and get one that will last!
+1 I've had my costco caravan brand canopy for years...its survived tons of wind, water, etc. Disclaimer though, I bought mine when they were still made of steel, so I'm not sure if the aluminum will hold up as well, although I will definitely buy this again. Plus, with costco, you can return no questions asked if you dont like it...
Costco also has a steel version available for a little more $. http://www.costco.com/Browse/Produc...p=C&hierPath=50126*49249*79339*28186*&topnav=
My buddy and I each have one of these from Tractor Supply. Holding up well with no issues and if a roller bag is your thing then you'll be happy. http://www.tractorsupply.com/lawn-g...gic-10-ft-x-10-ft-open-top-pro-pop-up-1110654
That picture is great. They market the item by taking a picture when the sun is so low that the only thing creating shade is the people under the canopy.
Bought the Costco canopy. The 196 dollar one. It was horrible, broke first weekend of use. Would NOT recommend it.
Just picked up an EZ-Up Sierra II model. It's not the same design as the expensive EZ-ups, but I'd say its better quality overall than the typical cheapies. I got the 12'x12' which is actually 10' x 10' at the canopy for $90 at Anderson's Gen Store. They also had the 10' x 10' (really its an 8' x 8') for $70.
Sport athourity is selling one for 80 and for 10 dollars more you can get insurance if it breaks in 13 months they replace it for you
Bought one of these at Dicks a couple years ago. Still going strong (knock on wood) after a couple years of use. $99 http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3380927
PM me and I will get you set up with an EZ-Up Express II http://www.ezupdirect.com/ezup-instant-shelters/express2.php shipped to you for $225
+1 I have an Eclipse (a I, not the II), and have had it about 10 years or so. Aside from the material getting a little thin in spots it's still in good shape, and it's been through just about everything you could throw at an EZ-UP.
