    The 'Wall Street Journal' reported today that Hostess robbed their employee pension plan to fund operation during their road to bankruptcy.

    Just another example of how "Union greed may kill company".

    Y-A-W-N. This story just keeps proving that people who rush to judgment because of a prejudice should wait for all the facts to come in before mouthfarting what they believe passes for intellect.

    No, they reported that the previous management used the money earmarked for the pension plan to use for day to day operation expenses. The management team (who were paid $1 per year each) that were in place up until a few weeks ago were unaware of what happened.

    So, the union of 5600 killed the jobs for 18,000 and you can grasp for all the straws you want but, you still end up with a handful of shit. Nice try though.

    Maybe if hostess didnt have been forced by collective labor to fund a pension program for an unskilled labor job they wouldnt have had such a difficult time operating a profitable business.
