Yeah, Luthi crashed and Gadea couldn't avoid his bike. They changed the red-flag rules for this year, so if it happens again Luthi doesn't get points and the world championship.

 

Think they will also change the rules so KTM riders can't steal points from each other?

 

They made that ruling last year when they chose not to renew Tamalcsi (sp?).

 

Those KTM guys were so steamed I thought they were going to set him on fire and toss him on the used tire stacks.

 

Can I please have a recap on teh KTM problem last year? (Didn't get to watch much 125 racing.)

 

In a nutshell, Talmacsi and Kalio were riding for KTM. Kalio had a legit shot at the championship, so team orders were for Talmacsi to NOT finish ahead of Kalio. At one of the later races in the season Talmacsi did a draft pass right at the finish line and beat Kalio by a nose, and a nose is by how much Kalio lost the championship.

Yep, the 5 points he lost in the draft pass was the championship margin.
