free for everyone that already has Netflix, way cheaper than paying for MotoGP and a lot more action in those fights. Not really a winning argument haha
It’s included in our T mobile family plan, meh if you hate boxing then just say that haha, fights were awesome especially the females killing each other
Nope. No hate for boxing just for things that are clearly not a sporting event and only take place to fleece money from people. Even if they do it willingly.
I don't know what to say... I watched. I had all kind of expectations (all kinds of scenarios). In the end, I am glad that it was free (and, the Netflix freeze was tolerable with a quick refresh). I do not believe Tyson's legacy was hurt by this showing. It would be interesting to see what may be discussed in upcoming podcasts/interviews. The women's fight was very good.
I thought that was the reason and makes more sense now, because in some states you couldn't bet on the fight, like NY, PA and a few others.
I'm gonna talk outta my ass again. Put up 40 mil minimum for Tyson.Get rid of those hello kitty gloves. Replace with something around MMA gloves,3 round limit. Old gray mare aint what he use to be,but slinging that shit for 3 rounds, let alone eight! Old men get tired, maybe sundowners was setting in.. Or!!! all out go F-your mother,I will eat your children bare knuckle last man standing. That I would pay for!! And an extra 2 mil for an ear (either side) ..I should be a promoter!! No way in HELL!! There wasn't some back room shit deal with this pillow fight! His workout videos had more heart than this fight!!
There’s a fair reason this event was on Netflix and not a PPV event. Entertainment. Wolfe and Toof are likely not far off on assessments of said contract assessments. Anyone who thought this was a legit heavyweight fight was disillusioned. Anyone who knows anything about boxing could see way before Friday that this was not the case. My opinion was this was a way to garner interest in boxing - specifically heavyweight boxing - that has been lost in the last maybe two decades. Boxing is losing to MMA/UFC as the premier “combat” sport that it enjoyed in the pre-2000 years. The fights on the undercard were legit, and I think this Tyson/Paul fight was a way to bring eyes back to boxing. And I think it served the purpose. Eyes got on some talent that otherwise wouldn’t have seen. There is some amazing talent in boxing especially in the welterweight divisions. Mike looked exactly like what we thought he would look like. It was a spectacle, and that’s what it was meant to be. The last 10 seconds of the last round was confirmation. As a boxing fan, and a combat sports fan, I enjoyed seeing Mike out there throwing some ceremonial shots at JP. It brought eyes back to that discipline. And I’m okay with it.
