tire?

im gonna go threw my first race weekend at vir and was wondering how many sets of tires i would need to bring? also i got a few sets of mich pilots that i got a deal on.... think they would be good enough to run my first event or should i step it up and get some decent track tires?

 

Which model Michelin? "Pilot" is a term used very broadly by Michelin.

Do you know how old they are (check date codes)

 

they are pilot powers.... i just picked them up for my street bike and need tires for the track bike and was wondering if these would be soft enough for the track.....

if they would work about how many days do u think i could get out of them...

 

Depends on how fast you are. The faster you go, the more tires you burn.

How many races are you going to run?

The Pilot Powers are probably good enough. However, there are better options for racing.

 

i traded up for a set of 2ct's and i have a 1 track day rear power race. will i need to get warmers for the 2ct's?
